LARRY PEPINO

So... a brief statement from the archivist:

Mr. Laurence Joseph Pepino was a mysterious man to many.  Always a pioneer in his own mind and a beautifully complicated eccentric man.  A man with a dream to fly the friendly skies, who settled for driving like a secret maniac up and down the highways and byways of New York in what he endearingly called "animal cars".  Zip Zip Boom.  Do know that he hit those streets with some serious wheels over the years.  Larry loved his family and all those close to his heart dearly and unflinchingly.

Here you will find a collection of never-before-seen / fervently stashed away photos de Larry.  Drawn from eleven printed albums, 4 reels of vintage 16mm film, and over 3000 slides, the epic that was the Pepino family unfolds here with honor.  Witness Larry the baby, from infancy to two year old birthday LIVE and moving on video... and slides of photos shot by his father to thankfully capture him into his teens.  Then, step in to the evolution of Larry as he raises his family. Awww.

This begrudgingly loving family guy gets his feet wet.  Once and forever a car enthusiast.  A brilliant mechanic, craftsman,  and technical mind.  A free spirit held down by no recognized government.  A man with an unflappable fence and a mission to protect said fence. My  father was simply put, a man's man.

Watch the Larry, see the Larry, and know that he kept each and every one of these photos and family heirlooms safely stored in a deep and dark closet nook (protected by rows of empty boxes of cereal). Not just because he was simply a hoarder reeling with extreme OCD.  To our benefit, he kept these photos, slides, and film reels because he was also a sentimental man.  He kept all of these snapshots because these were important treasures in his life; and a testament to how he lived.

And so please peruse and admire the lifetime memories this family has amassed.

Larry is now and always has been loved, and in return, as he likes to say, "always loving you".
